We will be visiting the 2nd week of November, which is called "Jersey Week". Are the crowds really affected by this?

    Hi Ashley,

Heading to Walt Disney World Resort in November for some magical fun? How exciting!

Jersey Week. I remember one time when a host at Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular asked a guest where was he from. When he answered New Jersey, the place erupted in cheers and applause. The host then joked that half the state goes down to Florida.

The New Jersey Education Association hosts their annual convention in early November. All public schools are closed for a long weekend on Thursday and Friday, and many families decide to escape the cold weather and head down to Florida. In 2016, the convention is held on November 10 and 11. Although attendance is typically low during the fall, it happens right before Veterans Day, so that weekend is a popular one. Also this time very popular for conventions and Disney Meetings, being held at Walt Disney World Resort. Although many bring their families, conventionEARs have a busy schedule.

Here's a tip: make sure you download the My Disney Experience mobile app, which will give you real time attraction wait times. And make sure you reserve FastPass+ for your favorite attraction. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you may do so up to 60 days before arrival. Otherwise, you may do so up to 30 days in advance.

    See you real soon!
