visiting week of mar 6 2011 was just wondering how the weather is usually around this time of year? and the crowds? thanks a bunch planning this for the first time excited but very overwhelming just want it to be special for my 3 little princesses

Hello, Tiffany!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

I am very excited to hear about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  March is just around the corner and I am sure the countdown is on!  Let's get started.

The crowds will be heavy as many schools are enjoying their Spring Break.  The good news is that the crowds get even heavier as the month progresses, so early March is much better.

The days will be warm, but the evening hours may still have a bit of a chill in the air.  My family and I like to visit the Walt Disney World Resort area in March and I always pack jeans or running pants and short-sleeved shirts.  Once the evening comes around, we just put on our sweaters and are ready to go.  I usually bring their sweaters along in a backpack, but the majority of the time the boys wear them tied around their waist. We seem to always start the morning in our sweaters.  I would definitely check the forecast as your travel date approaches to get a more accurate picture of what to expect on the weather front.  This will be a much better guide as to what you will need to pack.

Thank you so much for visiting the Moms Panel!  Please join us again should any new questions or concerns pop-up.  We are ready to help plan the vacation of a lifetime!

    ~Have a MAGICAL day!~
