We're visiting for a week in June & want to attend 1 of the Star Wars Days @ HS. We want to go in the morning, take a break @ our resort, then go back in the evening until close. Is there a risk of not being allowed reentry? I know that's a crowded eve

    Hi there Julie!

We were there for Star Wars Weekend (SWW) last year and it was a blast! In fact, we enjoyed it so much, we are going to be there the first Sunday in June and the following Friday! I'm a huge fan of SWW and it seems like my son has followed in my footsteps. The only mention that I have seen so far about SWW has been here in the Disney Parks Blog. As you can see, they haven't finalized the parade and character schedules yet so keep checking the SWW website for updated information. Last year's Celebrity Motorcade parade started at 11:40am according to the Star Wars Times guide I kept from the event. So you may want to go rest right after that. There is always a risk of park overflow but it's usually on the first weekend, specially since the first SWW is the opening of Star Tours. Last year the crowds were centered in the SWW area and the rest of the park was bare...

I'm sure that they will be updating the Star Wars Weekend webpage once show times and Stars are confirmed so keep an eye out for that.

Make sure to double check the regular Times Guide and special Star Wars Times Guide at Hollywood Studios for parade, character appearance locations, and show times when you arrive. I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
