We are visiting for the week of Dec. 11-17, 2010, our first time coming during the Christmas season. I was wondering where would be a good photo spot for a family Christmas card photo, that includes holiday decorations, but not on Santa's lap! Thanks!

Hi Lauren!  My own family has used the Disney holiday backgrounds for our family Christmas cards in years past!

If you prefer an indoor location then check out the resorts for a perfect spot. Most will have trees in the lobby area and these provide simple yet festive backdrops for the family photo.  Try to choose off times when the lobby is not crowded so you can avoid the extra bodies in your picture!

Although all parks will have wonderful decorations out we always loved the floral and other special decor in EPCOT.  As you are visiting the parks look to see if something offers you a good backdrop for the family....something that might add a personal meaning to the picture.  Don't forget you can use one of the many great PhotoPass photographers who can also advise you for the best holiday spots.  They can take the pictures for you and you are able to see them on line where you can order them made into cards.
