We are visiting wdw this year July 4-12. We are arriving on the 4th so we are not planning a park day. Do we need to be a guest of the Polynesian to watch the fireworks from the beach? And do they pipe in the same music as MK to all the poly beaches?

Hello Sarah and thanks for bringing such a great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
How fabulous for you to be spending Independence Day at Walt Disney World Resort because this special time of yEar usually benefits from some extra magical happenings as described in this past 2017 Disney Parks Blog ~ Celebrating the 4th July Across Walt Disney World Resort; so my top tip would be to keep a keen eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all future updates including the planned 4th of July celebrations for 2018!
I absolutely love Disney's Polynesian Village Resort with its lush island style decor and wooden Tiki gods and I'm more than happy to share that yes indeed all Guests are welcome to visit each and every Disney Resort hotel and yes the music from Happily Ever After is piped to the Polynesian beach for everyones enjoyment!
Before heading to the beach for the fireworks be sure to stop by the Pineapple Lanai for a delicious DoleWhip or the Barefoot Pool Bar for a specialty cocktail!
    Have a great Disney day.
