    We are visiting WDW 9/5/14 - 9/13/14 and I am wondering what Cars and Planes activities and character events are available for our 6 year old son. Finding girl based things to do is easy, but what about for the boys who love Dusty and Lightning?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Stephanie ~

    I have two boys and we are always looking for adventure when we are at Disney.

    Since your son is a "Cars" fan, head over to Disney's Hollywood Studios. He can meet Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater at the Team McQueen Headquarters near the Streets of America. They also make appearances in the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show.

    I have seen lots of merchandise from the movie "Planes", but there aren't any meet and greet locations for Dusty and his pals at this time. No worries - there are tons of options for your son including:

    * The Pirates League
    * Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage
    * A Pirate's Adventures: Treasures of the Seven Seas
    * Wilderness Explorers
    * Pirate Adventure Cruise
    * Jedi Training Academy

    At Downtown Disney, check out:
    * Characters in Flight
    * LEGO Imagination Center
    * T-Rex
    * DisneyQuest
    * Splitsville

    Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR to help you!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
