Hi, I am visiting WDW w/my 3yr old & my parents. Do all 4 of us have to go to the 1st park we are booking lightning lanes for in order to open the park hopper feature? My Dad and I want to go to AK 1st while my mom takes my daughter to breakfast at MK.

    Hi, Shelley! Welcome to planDisney.

It sounds like you have a wonderful family trip planned. And I have great news for you, Shelley! You don’t all have to start at the same park to unlock the Park Hopper Option! As long as each of you taps into at least one park that day, your Park Hopper privileges are good to go.

So, you and your dad can kick off your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park whilst your mom and daughter enjoy breakfast at Magic Kingdom Park. Once everyone’s tapped into their first park, you can hop to any other park.

Even better, you can book Lightning Lane selections (whether a Multi-Pass or Single-Pass) for a park different from where you start. And if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can book them up to seven days before check-in. Other Guests can start booking three days before their ticket date.

I hope that helps, Shelley! Thanks for choosing to be our Guest.
