We will be visiting WDW in 3 weeks with a large(13)family group. Will we be able to get into a table service restaurant without ADR? On such short notice, would we be better off to try to split up and make ADR as smaller groups? Thanks for your help!

Susan, dining reservations are often the toughest things to get while planning a Walt Disney World vacation.  I never recommend families to just walk up to table service restaurants during their vacation. You will find that more time is spent trying to find an eating location and then waiting versus enjoying the parks when you do it this way.

I would definitely split up your group and attempt to get some reservations in place.  When we traveled with a large group we had name tags and before every meal we would draw names to see who would sit at the various tables that our reservation was under.  This was a fun way to avoid a mad dash to a seat and disappointment and also a great way to enjoy the company of others during the meal.

Don't be afraid to try some of the more unique spots such as Marrakesh in Morocco Pavilion in EPCOT.  You will find wonderful choices in some of these less known spots and they will be easier to get a reservation for them.  Don't forget Downtown Disney locations as well. There are many wonderful spots there to choose for great dining!
