We are visiting WDW this weekend and our daughter just turned 10. Will she be allowed to order from the kids menu if she wishes? We have the dining plan 1 quick, 1 table. Our son is 4 and we don't want to accidentally use his meal credits for his sister.

    Hi there, Brandy!

You must be in the "too excited to sleep" mode with your Walt Disney World vacation coming up so quickly!

Your daughter shouldn't have any problems ordering off of the kids' menu. We went through this with my daughter from about age 10 until age 12. Just mention the Disney Dining Plan entitlements to your server so there won't be any confusion on which ones to deduct. Some restaurants will even give a larger portion of a kids' menu item for older kids, you'll just need to ask as it may not be something they'd automatically offer to do and it could be different depending on the restaurant.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel and I sure hope this helps!

Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have as you continue planning.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
