    We are visiting WDW the week after Thanksgiving 2012 with 2 small children. I would like to do a character meal one of the days that we are not planning on going to the parks. Do I need to have tickets to the park to enjoy a character meal?

    You're going to love how even more magical Walt Disney World becomes around the holidays!

    Not to worry, either. You can easily enjoy a fantastic character dining experience without going into a park by booking a Character Dining experience at one of the Walt Disney World resorts that offer them too.  Take a look at the link I've embedded here, and take note of the location of the restaurants listed right on that first page.  Click on any that look intriguing and are listed as being located in a WDW resort. (FYI, restaurants which are located within any WDW park DO require you to use a ticket to enter the park to get there.)

    Some of our absolute favorite character meals are not located in a park, so have fun trying to decide which one is right for your family!
