We will be visiting WDW the week of Halloween. We plan to be at the Magic Kingdom during the day on Halloween. Do we need to purchase a separate ticket for the Halloween event in the evening or will our daily admission cover the event as well?

    Hi Nina,

I have never had the opportunity to be at Walt Disney World for Halloween, but I can't imagine a more SPOOKTACULAR place to celebrate than by attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom.

Unfortunately, Nina, any guests who do not have a ticket for the Party that evening will be ushered out of the Park once the Party starts at 7 p.m. All guests with party tickets will be issued a wristband upon arrival and Cast Members are vigilant throughout the night in checking wristbands to ensure that only party guests are present.

Nina, if you have never attended one of these parties before, let me assure you that it is well worth the cost of admission! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my family's favorite special event at Walt Disney World. The atmosphere among both Cast Members and fellow Guests is fun and spirited, with some of the most fantastic costumes I have ever seen! You know from the moment you walk into the Park that you are about to have an incredible time. Special characters come out to play for the evening, and spooky Halloween music and special effects are on full display throughout the Park.

Seeing the headless horseman gallop down an eerie Main Street, watching the gravediggers and ballroom dancers from Haunted Mansion glide by during the Boo to You Parade, and taking in the spectacular Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show are just some of the things which make this Party so memorable and enjoyable.

Do be aware that attending the Party on October 31 is always very popular, with tickets selling out well in advance. Therefore, I highly recommend that you get your ticket early should you wish to attend.

Wishing you all the very best in planning your Halloween visit, Nina, and Boo to You!
