Visiting WDW and we´re considering purchasing the Memory Maker service. If we buy magic bands (we´ll be staying off property), is it true that onboard ride photo systems will automatically detect our Magic Bands and link the photos

    Hi Julieta!

My family and I purchased the Memory Maker on our last trip, and I am so glad we did!  I love having all of our magical moments caught in high quality photos, AND we are all four in the pictures for once:)

It is true that the ride photos will also show up in your My Disney Experience account and be available with the Memory Maker purchase.   I don't know the exact science behind it, but there are sensors in the ride that detect your RFID chip in your Magic Band and that is how the photo knows where to go!  A few of the attractions actually have a video of you riding, and it will show up on your account, as well.

I told my boys it was "Disney magic" that made it happen!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
