We will be visiting WDW for the 1st time this summer. We have gotten the quick dinning plan but would like to do a character dining with Chef Mickey. Can we just pay seperately for that meal ?

    Hi, Kelli!

Absolutely! (And great choice; we LOVE Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort!)

No matter what type of Dining Plan you're on while in Walt Disney World, you can choose to pay separately for any meal or snack if you choose to do so. If you've enabled your Key to the World Card to be used for room charges, you can even charge the meal to your room instead of paying by cash or credit card.

When ordering your Quick Service meals, be sure to tell the Cast Member taking your order that you'll be using your Dining Plan, and the entitlements will be taken from your account at that time.

Happy dining! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
