We are visiting WDW for the 1st time in June. I would like to book some sort of character breakfast for my then 5 year old son and 2 1/2 year old daughter. Where do I start looking? Did I mention he loves Peter Pan?

Hi Colleen, Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!

For a first trip, I would recommend breakfast at Chef Mickey's. See: HERE. This popular restaurant has a fun atmosphere, and it's a great chance to interact with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald. If you are unable to book Chef Mickey's, you might want to try Donald's Safari Breakfast in the Animal Kingdom. See: HERE. Both restaurants have great food, and provide fantastic character interaction.

If your son would like to see Peter Pan, be sure to stop by Guest Services and ask where he will be available a "Meet and Greet". There is a character hot-line phone number that they can call. We have met him and Wendy in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom several times (by the Pirates of the Caribbean ride).

Another idea would be for you to book a Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. We've done this, and it's a lot of fun. At the end of the cruise, Peter  Pan is waiting on the docks. When one of my sons was 7, we did the Voyage and didn't tell him that Pan would be there. He was a huge fan, and was SO excited! You can learn more about the voyage HERE.

Hope this helps and that you have a magical vacation!
