Hi Andrea,
My family spent Thanksgiving week at Walt Disney World last year, and we're booked again this year. We had such a great time, eating lots of delicious meals and taking in all the holiday decorations and events along with the usual theme-park fun.
What I found was that virtually every restaurant made traditional Thanksgiving fare available on that day, so I'm confident that you can choose turkey and the trimmings at Cinderella's Royal Table or virtually any other table service restaurant.
Even many of the quick service restaurants will have Thanksgiving specials.
Some other popular Thanksgiving Day choices include Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom, Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge, California Grill or Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary resort and Trail's End at Fort Wilderness.
My family opted for the buffet at Boma in Animal Kingdom Lodge last year. We always love our dinners there, and it was perfect because it allowed us to have some turkey and dressing and still get the tastes of African cuisine we enjoy at Boma.
Here's a link to the Thanksgiving Day dining ideas the
Disney Parks Blog published in November last year. It was really geared to those who were making last-minute plans. Most of the other restaurants I mentioned above are booked for Thanksgiving by the end of May.
So, I strongly suggest you make that reservation as soon as you can to most options.
I hope that is helpful. Please let me know if you would like more details on any of the restaurants I've mentioned or any other at Walt Disney World. Enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family at Walt Disney World!
Wilma
