    Visiting WDW 10/6-10/13/12, staying @ POR with 4 snrs, 2 adults with kids 14 & 11. Looking 4 a quiet area to stay, close to a "quiet pool", to a bus stop & 2 the Main Lobby bldg. Any suggestions on bldgs to stay in?

    Hi Sue,

    Our favorite building at Port Orleans Riverside has always been building #14. It is located right next to the main building/lobby as well as a bus stop.  Building #18 is another favorite; it is right next to #14, but closer to one of the quiet pools. 

    Overall, we've found both of those buildings to be quiet.  We really like the water view rooms since looking out at the Sassagoula River is quite lovely and peaceful. You may find, however, that rooms overlooking the pool may be a bit more noisy. Please keep in mind that you are welcome to make building/room requests, but there are no guarantees.
