    We will be visiting WDW 5/6-5/13 and will be staying at a non-disney timeshare. I noticed we are very close to Disney Boardwalk, are we able to use the Ferry's/boats and the monorail system since we are not staying at a WDW resort?

    Hi Casey:

    One of the benefits of staying on Walt Disney World property is the various methods of complimentary transportation, such as buses, monorails, and boats, throughout Walt Disney World for Resort Guests. While I've never seen anyone asked for proof of Resort stay before being allowed to board internal Disney transportation, I suppose it can always happen. In the very unlikely event you are unable to utilize Disney World transportation, there are also taxis that operate on Walt Disney World property that can get you where you want to go.
