We will be visiting WDW and staying at a Disney resort, while my parents will be at an off-site hotel. Can I make fast pass reservations at the 60 day mark for the whole party, or just those of us staying on-site?

    Hi Kristen,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question about making your party’s upcoming FastPass+ selections!

We often travel with larger groups of people, with some members of our party who haven’t opted to stay in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. I can confidently say that the answer to your question is… it depends! There have been some times when I’ve been able to make FastPass+ selections for our entire party when our 60-day selection window opens, and other times when the system hasn’t let me. I’d say that it’s worth trying when your window opens, but keep in mind that you may not be able to complete their selections.

One thing is for sure, you definitely won’t be able to make FastPass+ selections at the 60-day mark for your parents, without at least one other person in the party who is staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

If you aren't able to include your parents in your plans right away, don't worry! All you'll need to do is to click on "Change Party" for each FastPass+ selection and see whether there is availability for two other people at that time. You can also look for a return window that overlaps with your original selection (which can sometimes be easier for a party of 2).

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
