I will be visiting WDW soon and am trying to get a sense of the walking distances. For instance - how long of a walk is it (approx.) from the where the boats let you off at MK to the center of the hub? Thanks.

    Hi Marnie!

It is about 3 to 4 football fields (300 to 400 yards) from the boat launches to the center of the hub in front of Cinderella Castle.  It actually looks farther than that because of the forced perspective of the buildings along Main Street USA which makes Cinderella Castle look bigger and farther away.  Walt Disney World is a big place and I have found that you will do a lot of walking each day, sometimes up 6 to 10 miles a day or more.  My recommendation is to bring comfortable, broken-in walking shoes or sneakers with you on your vacation.  The biggest mistake that people often make is to bring a brand new pair of shoes or sneakers with them on their vacation with the intention of breaking them in on the trip!

I hope that you have a magical time on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
