Hey there, hi there, ho there! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney, Nicole! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
In just a few short weeks, you'll be headed out on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Well, hold on to your hat, Nicole, because it is bound to be a wild ride with so much happening around Walt Disney World!
Did you know that you will be visiting during the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts? It is sure to be a treat for all the senses, with musical performances, gorgeous art galleries and delicious culinary creations that are also a feast for the eyes. I can't wait for my next visit so I can try the
Deconstructed Key Lime Pie from The Deconstructed Dish. If you end up visiting EPCOT, be sure to pick up a Festival Passport that will break down each food offering and its location, ensuring you don't miss out on any of the good stuff!
Nicole, I know the day you head home from your Walt Disney World vacation can be a real bummer, but why not make the most of the time you have? I love the idea of having a delicious meal before heading to the airport! So, let's talk breakfast! My absolute favorite spot for breakfast is
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort. Not only is it delicious, but you'll be able to say hello to Mickey and a few of his best pals while you eat! Be sure to try the Sour Cream Waffle; it is AMAZING!
I do want to note that while
Disney Skyliner is usually the best way to get from Walt Disney World Swan Hotel to Topolino's Terrace, service will be closed between
Disney's Riviera Resort and EPCOT for refurbishment from January 23rd through January 28th. But worry not, Nicole! If you depart between those dates, you can use the complimentary bus transportation provided in its place from International Gateway at EPCOT to head to Disney's Riviera Resort. Either way, transportation is just a short walk from your hotel, so Topolino's Terrace is an excellent choice for your breakfast!
Another great option is
Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. While there is no Character Experience at this restaurant, you will love the relaxing coastal vibe and truly fantastic food. I particularly enjoyed the Dark Chocolate Waffle and even visited twice in one week to get more! Can you tell I like waffles? Ale & Compass Restaurant is a super short walk from Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, so you can easily check out of your room, drop your bags with Bell Services and stroll over for a relaxing meal. What a great way to wrap up your magical vacation!
Nicole, you really can't go wrong with any of the restaurants at Walt Disney world! Just be sure to use the
My Disney Experience App to secure an Advanced Dining Reservation or join the
Mobile Dine Walk-Up list if available.
I hope you have a truly magical time on your upcoming vacation! Please be sure to visit us again with any other questions you may have!
Bye for now!
