We will be visiting WDW in September. I have never visited WDW before--my wife only once when she was a child. We will be bringing our 5 year old son and wanted to go to 2 character breakfasts; which ones would you recommend?

Hi from a fellow PA resident!

I would recommend Chef Mickey’s so you can see Mickey and his friends. The excitement of the monorail running through the Contemporary is a big plus for boys. Mickey steps out of the kitchen to sing and dance with his guests. Before you know it, even Mom and Dad will be waving their napkins to celebrate a wonderful start to the day. Dining at Chef Mickey’s is a tradition for us.

If your son likes Winnie the Pooh and the Hundred Acre Wood friends, I would suggest breakfast at the Crystal Palace. There’s just something about watching your small child follow these characters around the restaurant in a “parade” that is simply magical. Ask Tigger if he likes to bounce.

The variety of menu items on both of these buffets is excellent and they include kid stations.
