I will be visiting WDW in September with 2 kids (2 and infant). We are deciding between the Saratoga Springs resort and treehouse villas. Are the villas any less convenient, especially for transportation to parks and meals?

    Hi Leah!

I will be honest with you and tell you that the transportation while staying in a Treehouse Villa is a little inconvenient, however it didn’t take anything away from our stay.  Staying in a Treehouse Villa is a unique Disney experience and I tell everyone that if they can do it, they should.  Saratoga Springs is beautiful as well, but having your own little bungalow surrounded by beautiful scenery overshadows the transportation.

There is one extra step to get to the parks while staying in a Treehouse Villa.  You will either need to walk the path about 15 minutes to Saratoga Springs Resort and catch the buses there to the parks, or take a Treehouse Villa bus over to Saratoga Springs to transfer buses.  You can take a boat from the Treehouse Villas to Downtown Disney if boat service is running while you are on vacation.

    Have a magical day!
