Hi Maura,
Kids of all ages love Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - its spooktacular fun for everyone! Its held from 7 p.m. - midnight. I could not find the parade & fireworks schedule on the Disney website but
www.allears.net (a very reliable source) shows that Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade will be held at 8:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The Happy HallowWishes fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. If you catch the early parade, you could see the fireworks & be heading out of the park by 10 p.m.
Because I love Disney, I started training my kids from the beginning for late nights in the parks & they have usually been able to make it long enough at MNSSHP to get our money's worth and see and do everything we wanted to do. You know your kids better than anyone but here are a couple of suggestions that might help you:
* If you plan to go to a park on the same day that you attend MNSSP, visit the park in the morning & then head back to your resort for a break & long nap so that your kids are refreshed & ready for MNSSHP.
* Skip a park all together that day & only go to MNSSHP. There are so many fun activities to do at the WDW Resort that you can do something low key during the day.
