We'll be visiting WDW in Sept and renting a house in Indian Creek Village. We'll be flying in and were wondering what public transportation is available to take us to the parks and bring us back to the house at the end of the day? Or get rental car?

Hi, Tracy!  While I am not familiar with the property you are staying at, I have often stayed off property.  When not on Disney property, I think it is always best to get a rental car.  This allows you freedom to travel to theme parks, the airport, shopping, or anywhere you want to go.

By the time you would pay for transportation to and from the airport for your family, you could probably pay for the rental car.  Other fees associated with renting a car:   tolls, gas, and a daily fee to park at the theme parks.

You may want to check with your resort concierge/management, but I think your best bet will be to simply rent a car.  Good luck!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
