    We are visiting WDW 12/1-12/6. Is Rivers of Light going to be showing at AK during this time?

    Hello Stephanie,

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am sure you are getting really excited for your magical vacation coming later this fall. There are so many new and exciting attractions and entertainment that I know your trip will be absolutely amazing.

    While there has been no official opening date announced for Rivers of Light at Disney's Animal Kingdom, the park does have other new opportunities to enjoy this theme park at night. Attached you will find a video with tips from a few fellow panelists on visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom. The Tree of Life comes alive in this spectacular show and you can now enjoy Kilimanjaro Safaris at night as you see the animals roaming after dusk. 

    Be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and updates about Walt Disney World. When the official opening date of Rivers of Life is announced, you will be sure to find more information there.
