Visiting WDW Resort Jan. 29 - Feb. 4. Trying for a dinner Reservation for 6 people at O'hana on either Jan. 30 or Feb. 1 at around 5pm. Seems all tables are booked & was told to call every day for cancellation. Is there any other way?

    Hi Helene,

I really enjoy a meal at 'Ohana.  Children have such a great time partaking in coconut races, and the Polynesian-inspired food is delicious.  I especially like visiting there, as you are, with a slightly larger group.

I do think that your best bet to try to book a reservation at 'Ohana, if you have found that it is not currently available when you want to go, is to continue to call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).  You can also try to make the reservation online at the Disney dining reservation website, if calling is not convenient for you.  Another option for you, since you are a larger group, is to see if you can get a reservation not for six guests, but rather reservations for two and four guests.  When you arrive, you can ask if you can be seated close to each other or even possibly at the same table.  There is no guarantee, but it is worth a try.  A final idea, if you cannot get a reservation when you want to at 'Ohana, is to make a reservation at Kona Cafe.  It is also in Disney's Polynesian Resort, and it has delicious food as well.

I hope that these ideas are helpful for you, Helene.  Have a wonderful time planning your trip, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
