Visiting WDW (Port Orleans FQ) with our (hungry) 11 and 14 year old boys, and in an attempt to save some time and money we were hoping to get a few grocery items to keep in our room. Can I get an idea of cost / availability of these items in Jackson Square

    Hi Laura!

Hungry boys!  I'm going to be in your shoes soon enough with my own two!  You'll be able to find some basics at Jackson Square, but you'll be paying a premium for the convenience, and their selection isn't as varied as your local grocery store.

I do have a few suggestions, as we do keep groceries in our room for quick breakfasts and snacks for our three.  You can have groceries delivered.  Garden Grocer is a great delivery service that will deliver groceries right to your resort.  There is a minimum delivery charge, but I think you'll be able to meet the minimum between your boys.

You can also order snacks and non-perishables through Amazon.  You'll be able to have those delivered to your resort to have on hand.  Here's the address:

    ATTN: First & Last Name
c/o Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter
    2201 Orleans Drive
    Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-8424
    Arriving: D/M/YR
    Resort Confirmation Number

Purchase and pack non-perishables in your luggage.  We've done this before as well.  We pack an extra bag, and then on our return flight home, the space that is used to transport the snacks and such accommodates souvenirs quiet nicely!

    Have a magical vacation!
