Visiting WDW 12/16-12/23. Plan on going to MK 12/18 and already have tickets to MVMCP for that evening. Must you leave the park and re-enter or do you receive a special wrist band when you first enter the park that day? Thanks.

Hi there, Theodore!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Christmastime is my very favorite time of year to be at Walt Disney World and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is like the icing on the cake.  It's such a fun party.  I think you will be happy to know you will not have to leave Magic Kingdom and reenter on the day you are attending the party.  Starting around 4:00 p.m. there will be a few stations located around the park where you will be able to get your wristband for the night.  You'll recognize these stations by the festive decorations and outfits the Cast Members will be wearing.  There will also be Cast Members toward the very front of the park handing out the wristbands as well.  It wont be hard for you to find a spot nearby to grab one.

Your vacation sounds like it is going to be a holly jolly great time!  If you have any other questions, please do come back and ask.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
