Welcome back to planDisney, Cathy! Are you so excited about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort?
Memory Maker is a great way to capture all of the memories you're going to make while you're there, and I'm happy to tell you exactly how to use it.
Cathy, Memory Maker won't be activated until you choose to do it manually. On the day you want to use your Memory Maker, log into the
My Disney Experience app after you take your first Disney PhotoPass photo. Tap the main menu in the bottom right corner of the app and then select the "Photos" tile. Tap your photo, and you will be presented with the option to activate your Memory Maker! It's as easy as that. There's no need to worry about Memory Maker being accidentally activated without your knowledge, all you have to do is follow these steps and you'll be good to go.
Since you're going to be using your Memory Maker at
Magic Kingdom Park, I want to let you know about some of my favorite Disney PhotoPass locations! First, stop outside of the entrance to the Theme Park to get a photo with the flowers under the
Walt Disney World Railroad station. Keep an eye out for a Disney PhotoPass photographer in the courtyard of the
Haunted Mansion so you can take a spooky photo once you get off the attraction. Finally, there's also usually a photographer on the Tomorrowland Bridge, which gives a great vantage point of
Cinderella Castle!
I hope this answers your question, Cathy, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
