We are visiting the WDW park for 4 days at the end of May to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from college. This is her present at her request. Can you suggest special ways we can celebrate her achievement during this visit?

    Hi Janet,

Congratulations to your daughter on her big accomplishment! That's so exciting, and I can think of no better place to celebrate than at the Walt Disney World Resort! This visit will surely be extra magical!

When you first arrive, be sure to ask for complimentary "I'm Celebrating" buttons. Cast Members, and even some Guests, will love celebrating with you. Of course, a special meal is always a fun way to celebrate, too. With wonderful character meals, dinner shows, and unique dining options to please any palate, I'd encourage you to have her choose someplace special that she'd really enjoy. Did you know that you can even order a specialty cake to be delivered to select Disney restaurants or to your Disney Resort hotel room? That would be a delicious and fun way to say, "Hooray!" I'd encourage you, too, to check out some of the merchandise online before you go or at the retail shops when you arrive as there were some super cute graduation-themed gifts available late spring last year. For other unique and special ways to celebrate, I'd suggest chatting with a Cast Member at Disney Floral & Gifts. They are true experts at making moments extra special, and can offer the perfect gift or in-room celebration to show your daughter just how proud of her you are.

My number one piece of advice is to just go and have an absolute BLAST! Enjoy every moment of your trip, and visit as many Disney PhotoPass photographers as possible to capture all of the memories.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Janet, and have a truly magical vacation!
