We will be visiting WDW in October and staying at the family suites at the Art of Animation Resorts. Is there unlimited transportation from the parks to the hotel available as we have a preschooler that may need breaks from the action!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Alice!

You're going to love Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  I completely understand having a little one that may need a break from the action.  There are buses that run from the Art of Animation Resort to the theme parks and Downtown Disney.  They typically run about 15 - 20 minutes apart but it could be a little longer.  Also keep in mind that the line to board a bus may be long so you may have to wait for more than one bus depending on what time you're traveling.

Another idea is to find alternate places to take a break if you don't want to go all the way back to your resort. If you're at Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios, you could head over to Disney's BoardWalk area. There are quiet places your little one could take a nap in his or her stroller and places to run around and stretch his or her legs. We also like to take a break from the Magic Kingdom and hop aboard the Ferry or Monorail and take a spin. You could even explore the resorts along the Resort Monorail Line.

We also look for places inside the parks to take a break. In the Magic Kingdom, you could take a change of clothes and let your little one run around and play in the Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station.  At Hollywood Studios, my boys love playing at the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure (playground).  At Animal Kingdom, Rafiki's Planet Watch has the Affection Section where your little one can play with the animals and escape the crowds for awhile. You take a train over to that area so make sure you take drinks and snacks with you as there are limited options available once you're there.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
