Hi Angela!
Welcome to planDisney! With the
new Lightning Lane passes you can channel your inner Lightning McQueen and race to the front of the line for some of your favorite attractions faster than faster and quicker than quick! Let’s take a look at all the details you need to know to get set up with Lightning Lane passes for your visit!
Angela, since you’ll be staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and/or Lightning Lane Single Passes seven days before your check-in date beginning at 7:00 AM ET for the entire length of stay (up to 14 days). I recommend logging into your
My Disney Experience Mobile App the day before your purchase window opens and making sure that everyone in your travel party is
linked on your Family & Friends List so you can easily make plans for the whole group the next day. You’ll be able to select your attractions and return times before purchasing to ensure you’re happy with your choices. Once purchased, Lightning Lane passes are non-refundable, but you can always log back into your app and modify your choices (based on availability) if your plans change.
At this time, there are no changes to the
Virtual Queue process for Walt Disney World Resort. You can still make your first attempt to join a Virtual Queue for those select attractions beginning at 7:00 AM each day you visit the parks.
Angela, I hope this helps you prepare for a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort later this year! If you haven’t done so already, you may want to check ticket availability for
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party during your trip. I had the best time at this
SPOOK-tacular event a few years ago. The entertainment options are all incredible, but I think the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular starring the Sanderson sisters is my favorite!
Please stop by to see us again here at planDisney if you have any other questions!
Happy Planning!
Kristi
