We are visiting WDW in October and are sooooo excited! For the 1st time ever I booked room and tickets together. Usually do this seperately. Will they send ticks? Or will we have to pick them up when we get to hotel?

All of your park ticketing information will be encoded on what is called a Key To The World Card and it will be given to you upon check-in at your resort.  The same card will function as your room key, and, if you wish, you can even leave a credit card deposit for the ability to charge purchases back to your room.  When you visit one of the theme parks you'll insert the card into the reader at the admission gates.  That, together with a fingerprint scan, will get you right in.  The cards are the size and shape of a credit card and can easily be replaced in case of loss of theft.  The Key to The World Cards are convenient and simple to use.  One helpful tip is to always put your card in the same place so that  you know right where it is.  A lot of people use badge holders that can be purchased at office supply stores or even at Wal-Mart.

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
