We are visiting WDW in Oct and are staying at POR French Quarter. We are not planning on bringing our laptops but would like to access the internet using our ipads. Unfortunately they do not hook up to the internet access cables. How should we do this?

Bonjour, Sarah! Internet access could be a bit, er, difficile avec an iPad at Port Orleans French Quarter.

Okay. Who am I kidding? Let's dispense with the French and commence with the nerd speak (something that's much more in my comfort zone).

Internet access at Port Orleans French Quarter is hard-wired. But you're looking for a wifi signal for your iPads. The easiest way to get wifi from the confines of your resort room (or anywhere at the resort) is to bring a wifi router with you, pay for internet access, connect the wifi router to the hard wire and then enjoy the wifi signal with your iPads.

In the event you don't have the plug and play technology at home, you don't want to get a wifi router just for this and/or you don't want to pay $10/day for internet access in your room, consider bringing your iPads with you to areas that have wifi signals available
