We are visiting WDW in Oct 2011 and I am overwhelmed working out where to stay. Most of the Resort hotels have 2 double beds . Do any resorts have a double bed and two single beds for the kids? The kids are 6 and 8 - where do you recommend we stay?

    Hi Andrea,

One of my family's favorite resorts is the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  They do offer savannah view rooms with one double bed and a set of bunk beds.

The lodge offers beautiful views and many activities.   Check out the above link to see all that the resort has to offer.

Another option may be the All Star Movies' Family Suite.  It has a queen sized bed, a double sleeper sofa, a convertible sleeper chair, and a convertible sleeper ottoman.

Good luck with your planning.  Please feel free to ask us any other questions that may come up.

I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008.  As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity.  My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
