Visiting WDW in Oct with 4 families (total of 13) and may possibly try a dinner together, any suggestions for a larger party? We will have children ranging ages 4 - 13. Is ADR now 90 days in advance?

    Hi Joni,

Traveling with a large group can be a lot of fun!  There are some great options for meals with large parties.  'Ohana, Biergarten and Chef Mickey's are all fun restaurants where your group can reconnect.

My favorite restaurant to go to with a lot of kids is Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.  It's just a quick boat ride from the Magic Kingdom, so it's very convenient to get to.  The food is great - we always order the Canyon Skillet and bottomless milkshakes.  The best part of the restaurant is the atmosphere!  There are so many antics and games going on that the kids are entertained throughout the meal.

Have you registered as a magical gathering?  You may want to call and inquire about it.  Call (407)934-7639.  If your party qualifies, you'll be assigned a planning specialist to help coordinate any dining and entertainment experiences for your large party.  If this is an option, I highly recommend it - it will make your planning so much easier.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
