Hi, I will be visiting WDW in Oct. during Halloween, but will not be attending the MNSSHP. My 9 yr old son wants to wear a costume and I was wondering if he will be allowed to wear one on Halloween day even though we will not be going to MNSSHP? Thanks!

    Hi Jessica!

Costumes on children are quite a common sight at Walt Disney World. During the Halloween season this is certainly more prevalent, especially on evenings when a Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is taking place. Whether or not you're attending the party, you'll definitely notice other children to be dressed up around the parks. On Halloween Day, many children will choose to wear their costumes all day long, and your son is certainly invited to wear his!

In fact, you'll find children dressed as Pirates, Princesses and other Disney Characters almost any day of the week, any time of the year, throughout the Disney Parks!

For the ultimate costuming experience, consider reserving an appointment for your son at The Pirates League, where he'll be transformed with make up and accessories and even have the opportunity to participate in a parade around Adventureland in the afternoon. It's a fantastic experience for all ages!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question Jessica.
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
