Hi Carla, welcome back to planDisney!
There's no better place to get into the
holiday spEARit than at Walt Disney World Resort. The dazzling lights, festive soundtrack, glorious scent of fresh pine, and taste of gingerbread immerse Guests in a season of hope and all things merry.
Disney Military Salute Tickets offer military families like yours incredible savings and loads of magic. Let's go over the process of linking these tickets to your
My Disney Experience account and making theme park reservations, which are currently required for theme park entry. These steps are the same whether or not you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
On the Walt Disney World Resort website:1. Log into your My Disney Experience account to access the
ticket linking page.
2. Enter a ticket's ID code. For the Disney Military Salute Ticket I purchased in January, the ID code was the 16-character ID code found on the back of my exchange voucher plus the four characters I scratched off to reveal. My exchange voucher was a plastic card with a patriotic Mickey design on the front. An exchange voucher can also be a cardstock ticket or a piece of paper with Guest names and ticket numbers on it. Exchange vouchers are separate from the order confirmation printout you should receive at the time of purchase. Click the plus sign to add another ID number.
5. Once the tickets are validated, assign the tickets to members of your
Family and Friends list. If you are attempting to link a friend or family member's ticket using your account and they have their own My Disney Experience account, make sure you are connected as Family and Friends before linking. If members of your planning party are under the age of 13 and/or do not wish to have their own My Disney Experience accounts, click "Add a Guest" and their plans will be managed under your account.
Once your tickets are linked, check the
Theme Park Availability Calendar and proceed with making your
theme park reservations. Disney Military Salute Tickets also require in-person activation before entering your first park, which can be done at a Guest Relations or ticket window located outside the entrance to each park. If you're planning a visit to Disney Springs before your first park day, your tickets can also be activated at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. All members of your party should be present at the time of activation and all adults should be prepared to show photo ID. The sponsor's valid Military ID must be shown. You will receive admission cards at the time of activation, which can be used for park entry. Other modes of entry include
MagicBands and
MagicMobile passes.
Thank you for your family's service, Carla. Please return to planDisney if we can be of further assistance.
