Visiting WDW in November 2011 and have reservations to stay at the Contemporary Resort for the duration of the trip. Where, within the Contemporary, do you recommend staying, based upon proximity to the monorail/buses and to Chef Mickey's for breakfast?

    Hi Shelley,

My first half dozen visits to Walt Disney World were all spent staying as a guest at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  My family has made so many amazing memories at this iconic Disney resort.  You're going to love this enchanting place!  It is the perfect place to stay if you want to be in the very center of the magic.

If possible, I would highly recommend that you request a guest room with a theme park view on a high floor. The views from these rooms are absolutely stunning! If you'd prefer a room that affords you a more placid view from which you could watch the sun rise over Bay Lake, then simply ask for a lake view.   In order to save yourself steps to the complimentary Disney buses, monorail, and Chef Mickey's, you should also note on your reservation that you prefer a room close to the elevator.  Although room requests are never guaranteed, I'm sure the Disney Cast Member who assigns rooms at the Contemporary will make every effort to meet your request.

Wishing you a truly magical vacation this November!
