Hiya June - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your question. I'm happy to help you with some advice based on my experiences!
I see that you'll be arriving the first week of November, and this is usually a lovely time to visit weather-wise. As we all know, weather can be hard to predict, and things have been anything but normal recently, so I think the best approach is to pack for a variety of conditions. Rain is a bit less likely in November and humidity can be a bit lower, which is great news, but temperatures can still fluctuate quite a bit, usually from lows in the 60s F overnight up to the mid-80s F during the day.
For me, anything over 70 is still 100% shorts and t-shirt weather, but your crew might have different preferences. No matter when I visit Walt Disney World Resort, I always like to bring a light jacket or sweatshirt as a warmer layer. Some evenings and mornings can be unexpectedly chilly, and even on very hot days, if I'm spending a lot of time indoors, sometimes the air conditioning can be too cold for me. You should definitely bring swimsuits too so you can enjoy your
Disney Resort's pools!
I used to be quite a nervous packer for vacations, but then it dawned on me that if I "forget" to pack something, that's a great excuse to buy something new at Disney! Forget a jacket and it's getting chilly? Get a brand new hoodie or spirit jersey celebrating the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! Easy, low-stress, and you get to take home a new memory of your trip! Do I sometimes purposely "forget" to bring things just for this reason? I sure do!
I hope this information is helpful, June -
please stop by with any other questions that pop up as you continue planning!
