We are visiting WDW Nov 12-19. We have two kids 11 & 8 and can't decide between Carribean Beach or Coronado Springs? Do either decorate for Christmas more than the other? I have heard the wait for shuttles is faster at Coronado? Very confused.

    Hi Shannon!

I think you'll find that they are both decorated equally for holidays, but their decorations will be themed differently.  Disney does an amazing job of bringing the holiday spirit in unique ways to each of their resorts, and it is truly a magical time to visit.  As you will be there earlier in the holiday season, I would expect to see the some of the resorts 'in transition' as they put on their holiday finest, but a good portion of the decorating will be complete for your visit, especially in Magic Kingdom.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is HUGE.  H-U-G-E.  We've called this resort 'home' several times, and have experienced longer than 'normal' wait times, but we do enjoy the island feel.  Coronado Springs is not as spread out as Caribbean Beach, so as you can imagine, wait times (generally speaking) are a little less.  You are visiting at a typically slower part of the year, so I really think that the impact to your transportation times would be minimal.  I think either resort is a great place to call 'home' on your vacation.

    Have a magical vacation!
