I will be visiting WDW next week without children. Is there anything special happening at Epcot that we should definitely see?

    Hi, Wendy!

There is so much to see and do at Epcot next week, as the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival winds down for the 2012 season. If you're not on a Dining Plan, be sure to make a day or night of it by sampling the special small plates and beverages offered by almost 30 marketplaces in the World Showcase. For a PDF of the menus and pics, head to the great disneyfoodblog.com; just click "Booth / Kiosk MENUS and FOOD PHOTOS." My son and I sampled several dishes last month, but Shrimp on the Barbie with Pepper Berry Citrus Glaze, from Australia, was our favorite (and it looked just like the one in the photo, too.)

Be sure to head to the Food & Wine Festival before November 12th, 2012, as this is the last day of the Festival. In fact, you may love it so much, that you'll wish you had attended sooner! (Head there earlier if you can, leaving a second day to sample those dishes for which you just didn't have room during that first visit. YUM!)

If you head into Epcot after the F&W Festival is over, there are several newer dining venues which are perfect for couples without kids. Check out La Cava del Tequila for tapas-style dishes and some excellent specialty margaritas. Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar, too, is an excellent spot to relax and sample some of the 200 Italian wines they have to offer, not to mention some fabulous small plates. Yum x 2.

Send more questions as you think of them, Wendy. I'd love to help you plan the perfect getaway just for YOU! :-)
