We will be visiting WDW next summer. We're debating between the Pop Century resort or the new Art of Animation (LM room). What are the main differences between the 2 other than AOA being newer? Which is better for transportation to/from the parks?

    Hi Emily,

My family will be staying in a Little Mermaid room at Disney's Art of Animation Resort in December and can't wait!

To be honest, there isn't a great deal of difference between the two Resort hotels. Both are considered to be Value Resorts with very similar pricing and are located right next to each other. Both Resort hotels have their own dedicated buses and do not share buses with any other Resort hotels.

If the choice was mine to make, I would absolutely go for Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Not only is it brand new, it also has the Big Blue Pool which looks absolutely amazing as well as the Landscape of Flavors which offers many more food options than a standard Quick-Service Food Court.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
