Hi! We will be visiting WDW next June. What is best to tote around our things? Backpack vs. all other options. Our kids will not need a stroller My hubby thinks a backpack will be too hot, and I'm not a fanny pack person. I want to avoid a locker. Thanks!

    Hi Nicole,

No matter what time of year it is and no matter how warm it may be, I cannot live without my backpack at WDW (and it is a fairly large one too).  It really depends on what items and how much stuff you want to bring to the parks with you.  I like to have my daughters medicine, some change of clothes, bottled water, snacks, cameras, camcorder, etc.... so for me I really do need a backpack.  If I only had a few items I wanted to bring, then I would prefer a fanny pack (even though I don't find them comfortable it would be small enough that it wouldn't bother me to carry around).  I have gotten used to my backpack, but if you are not used to carrying one around and it is hot out then I agree with your husband that you may not enjoy having one with you.  I will say that whether it be a fanny pack or backpack, either one would be a better option than a locker in my opinion (I rented a locker once and it was very inconvenient, won't do that again!).

I hope you will find out what works best for you and your family and that you have the best trip in June....say Hi! to Mickey for me.

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
