    VIsiting WDW 6-8 to 6-15 need few more table service meal ideas for family consisting of girls 8 & 5, parents 35 & grandparents 60's. Have ADR Chef Mickey's,Cinderella's Royal Table,Mamma Melrose's & Whispering Canyon Cafe. Character meal or no

    Hello Megan!  I LOVE this question because my family and I LOVE dining at Walt Disney World.  

    Our very favorite Table Service meal at Walt Disney World is 'Ohana for dinner.  'Ohana is located at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  The meal is an all-you-care-to-eat experience consisting of pork, chicken, shrimp and steak cooked on a wood fire grill in the middle of the restaurant.  The food is amazing.  Your meal starts out with bread and salad, then appetizers like chicken wings and pork dumplings, the main course and sides like noodles and veggies and then dessert.  We like the food here so much, we eat here twice during each trip to Walt Disney World.  There is also dining room entertainment.  While enjoying the best meal at Walt Disney World you and your children can do the hula, enjoy a coconut race and do the limbo!  Everyone who participates gets a silk flower lei to take home.  Here is my suggestion, try to get a reservation an hour before the fireworks over Magic Kingdom begin and request a window seat.  When you are wrapping up your meal with dessert the lights in the restaurant will dim and music from the firework show gets piped in.  It is a great viewing spot for Wishes Nighttime Spectacular and the perfect way to end a great meal.  

    We also love dining at Tusker House for breakfast at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  It is a character breakfast and an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal.  There are plenty of Disney classic breakfast offerings, like Mickey waffles, but there are some unique to the menu items too.  It is delicious and my favorite way to start off a day at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Characters you will find here are Donald, Goofy, Mickey and Daisy.  Make sure to try the cheese blintz with the strawberry compote.  It is awesome.  Try making a reservation for around 10:30 a.m. to be able to try food from both the breakfast buffet and the lunch buffet.  Enjoy!

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
