    I am visiting WDW with my mum from 29 Oct for 12 nights. I am trying to make a reservation for the cake decorating experience at Disney Springs but it appears to be fully booked. Can anybody assist me with trying to make a reservation?

    Hello Susan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    It sounds like you are planning to have a most magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your mum. The Cake Decorating Experience at Amorette's Patisserie is one of those newer one-of-a-kind activities that make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation such a uniquely magical experience.

    Due to the popularity of the Cake Decorating Experience at Amorette's Patisserie, obtaining Advanced Dining Reservations for the activity have been difficult. I have yet to obtain Advanced Dining Reservations for the popular Dine With an Imagineer experience at the Hollywood Brown Derby for several Walt Disney World Resort vacations now.

    The best course of action is persistence and patience. I recommend that you check for Advanced Dining Reservations for the Cake Decorating Experience at Amorette's Patisserie as frequently as possible, up to and including the day before the event. Guests with Advanced Dining Reservations frequently cancel and open up spots for other Guests. There is no notice when these cancelations occur and the Guests who act first are the ones to capitalize on these cancelations.

    Guests will often cancel the day before Advanced Dining Reservations to avoid any cancelation fees or policies if they no-show for any particular reason. This is why the day before is still a viable possibility for Advanced Dining Reservations for the Cake Decorating Experience at Amorette's Patisserie.
