Hi Karyn!
Thank you for your question. I know all about strong-willed children.
When my son was a toddler, visiting the
Disney Parks was somewhat of a challenge, because he was always "Mr. Busy Body." If we weren't holding him or had him fastened in his stroller, it only took him seconds to dash into a sea of people, with a single-minded focus of getting to his favorite character or toy. Disney doesn't sell or rent out shoelace trackers, so we had to get a little creative. One year we had to purchase an anti-lost toddler leash, which was awkward but effective. Other years we would have him wear bright shirts (bright orange was our favorite) so we could quickly pick him out if he wandered. We were also fortunate that he had an older sister, who we kept close to him, who had her own cell phone as well as the GPS Tracker through our cell carrier that we paid at a nominal fee. Hopefully it would never come to this, but if he does go wandering too far, notify the nearest Cast member and they can alert
Guest Services to help locate the child ASAP.
Thanks again, and I hope you have a wonderful
Walt Disney World visit in 3 short months!
Terry
