Hi Debra,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question!
I’ve gotten into the habit of picking up a few groceries for my hotel room whenever I travel, including my visits to Walt Disney World Resort. I find it so convenient to have a few drinks, snacks and breakfast items in my room to be able to “grab and go” when I start my day.
I’m happy to say that I’ve used several grocery delivery services for my stays at
Disney Resort Collection hotels (including
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort), including Instacart, with no issues. I typically order my deliveries for a time when I know I’ll be at my hotel and wait for my delivery person at the main lobby, just to get my items quickly. If the timing doesn’t work out, however, the deliveries all go straight to Bell Services.
Bell Services at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort should be pretty used to
receiving grocery delivery orders for Guests, but I think it’s always a good idea to give them a “head’s up” about your delivery and when it’s expected. Plus, while Bell Services does have a refrigerator to be able to hold perishable items for you if you can’t receive your order immediately, space is limited, so letting them know about an upcoming delivery may allow them to save some space for your order.
A few final tips: If your order requires age or ID verification, you'll also need to meet and accept your delivery and a Cast Member won't be able to accept it on your behalf. Finally, please note that if you ask Bell Services to bring your order to your room, you will be charged a fee for this service.
I hope my answer helps make your upcoming vacation a little bit easier. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
