We are visiting WDW in May and i would like to buy a princess costume for my 2 yr old. How much do the costumes cost if i buy one at WDW? I'm trying to decide if its best to buy one from the disney store or to wait and get one at the resort. Thanks

    Hi Andrew!

May is a great time to visit Walt Disney World, and you should beat the out of school US rush of students.

I would strongly encourage you purchasing a Disney princess costume online or before you arrive to Walt Disney World. Sometimes Disney Store.com will have sales you can capture. However, a number of departmental stores will offer the same costumes at better rates, so be sure to check there.

I have a 6 year old daughter and we purchased some costumes at a local department store before traveling. The prices at the parks/resorts turned out to be considerably more when we checked.

Good luck and hope you have a magical time!
