Visiting WDW in Mar, 1st time w/ DDP. 2 adults & 3 yo DD. If she doesn't use all of her TS credits, can I order a kids TS meal for myself & share it w/ DD? She's not a big eater. At a buffet, can she share off our plate or will they use her TS

    Hi Michael!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

You're going to love the Disney Dining Plan. I can't imagine ever visiting without one. Such great savings and such a Fun & Fancy Free feeling to just swipe that card instead of constantly pulling out cash & credit cards. It's great!

When using the Dining Plan and dining at a Table Service dining location, 1 credit per person must be used. For Table Service Meals, the credits are allocated by age (child credit versus adult credit) and as such, are not interchangeable. You would not be able to use an unused Child Credit for an adult in the party to dine. You're not likely to have any unused TS credits since at each table service meal you'll each need to use a credit, including buffet meals.

At Counter Service, casual meals are not differentiated by age. You can feel free to choose to share meals and order any type of meal you wish (child or adult meal) and stretch out your Counter Service credits as you wish!

If you have any other questions regarding usage of the Disney Dining Plan, or would like any further assistance in the planning of your vacation, please don't hesitate to write back.

Wishing you a simply Magical time on your Walt Disney World vacation Michael!
